For what it’s worth, the s quark originally stood for “sideways”, until the c was discovered.
And I still refer to t and b as “truth” and “beauty”, instead of “top” and “bottom”
I’m kind of disappointed with the synonym girl, too. ‘dress’? ‘tea’? Come on, you can do better than that.
