Xmas presents to ourselves (or, how do you make a rusty nail?)

OK, How would you make a rusty nail? Would you go half-and-half, or go light on the Drambuie? I went half and half, and now I’m half happy and half buzzed.

This is my way of saying I’ve arrived home with my Xmas present for myself, a bottle of Johnny Walker Black and a bottle of Drambuie – both much too expensive to be regular, but what the hell, it’s Xmas. Hic.

So what will you buy yourself this Xmas?

Maybe this belongs in MPSIMS. I’m not sure I know the difference between this folder and that one.

Rusty Nail: 3 parts Scotch; 1 part Drambuie.

(If you’re going half on the Drambuie and drinking enough for a buzz, you have a lot more disposable income than I do.)

I see many sites as saying 1:1 and others as 1:3. More say 1:1, but I guess it’s a matter of preference.

I only had one (appro. 2 oz.) cocktail, BTW. Maybe I’m just a lightweight.
