XP question, toolbar and window size

  1. My computer loads the language bar after every startup. I don’t use those buttons so I always right click on the Toolbar and make them disappear. How do I make sure they don’t load during Startup?

  2. When I open a new window in IE, it always opens up to a specific size. Sometimes, with some fiddling, I can change the size, but it always seems like an accident when I manage to change the size of the new window. I think it has something to do with resizing the window and then closing it on that size, and IE will remember it, but it doesn’t work all the time. How do I change the New Window size to what I want?

  1. When you close the language bar it usually doesn’t load again after that. If you are having problems go into the language setup and remove all languages/keyboard layouts except for the default. With no options to switch to the language bar shouldn’t load.

  2. Open IE and drag the corners of the window to fill the screen (don’t use maximize). Then whilst holding down ctrl go to ‘file’ -> ‘close’ (don’t use the ‘x’). Now when you open a new window it should be the same size (in theory!).
