Yankee fans are fucking animals, man

Maybe you know him better than I do.

And holy fucking shit!!! If you told me this Saturday that there would be a game 7, I would have thought you were crazy.

Go Sox!

If an umpire makes a call and it is not disputed and resolved in committee, he is obligated to stick by it, even if the Jumbotron replay shows that he wasn’t even close to being right. A fine example: look up Don Denkinger in the 1985 World Series, where he made one of the lousiest calls ever.

The replay for the crowd is not allowed to have any bearing on the decision.

Schilling says It’s God’s will!

Is that in the rules, or is it tradition? Lately the umpires have gotten more interested in getting the call right than sticking to their guns. I’ve seen more home runs taken back this year than I saw in my whole life before this year.

Whether it’s a change in the rules or a change in tradition, I think that decision is good for the game.

God is a Sox fan!

Either that or he’s setting us up big time because he enjoys schadenfreude.

That or a cruel hoaxter…time will tell.

No matter what, Boston won. A record performance, even if they fall apart tomorrow. Schilling for sainthood!

Don’t read too much in to it. He’s a Curt Shilling fan. Curt just happened to be pitching for Boston tonight.

Hush. Schilling replaced the tempermental OT god by taking one for the team, leaving pure love in place!

Thank God the Orioles got rid of him for what amounted to nothing, years ago. :smack:

I can’t believe A Rod argued that call. Piece of shit. And, yes, Yankee fans are fucking animals.

No. It was definitely first. If there is interference, the player is out and the runners go back where they started.

I agree that A-Rod is a bitch.

Haj

Here’s hoping that little display haunts A-Rod the rest of his career…

Jeter went back to first.

I’m not disputing the call.

I’m just saying that from the perspective of someone in the stands A-Rod was initially safe and Jeter scored. Then he wasn’t safe and the run was called back. Hence the displeasure.

I thought Jeter started on second. Didn’t he hit a double to get on?

That’s correct. I was confusing the lead off double with Jeter’s single.

Sorry for the confusion.

Let us put our petty disagreements behind us and be agreed on the important thing: the Yankees suck!!

OK, it was first. I don’t know why I thought he was on second.

It will go down in history, no team has EVER lost a league series after being up 3-0. How wonderful it will be to have the Yankees fill that spot in the history books.
