Yay! I have fast internet. Whats good on youtube?

For what seems like years, I have had to pass on all links to videos, because I’m not patient enough to wait. Now I have high-speed internet, so tell me whats good on youtube. I’m also a fan of ebaums world, but I can’t find the videos of people doing stupid stuff like shooting roman candles at themselves.

So far I’ve found parts 2-4 of Robot Chicken Star Wars. I’ve also found the Ballad of Bilbo Baggins (Leonard Nemoy). Most of what I find is pretty dull though.

Depends what kind of video you’re looking for, but my favorite is this animal safari, Battle at Krueger

We’ve had a few threads relatively recently on favorite YouTube links.

I’m fond of George Washington, myself. Note: everything in this video is 100% true.

Currently my only contribution, if I may be so bold.
Then there’s Ma Na Ma Na too.

A recent favorite.

I rather enjoyed this satire of The Wizard of Oz. Be warned though! The entire thing is spread over 4 videos and they are all 8 to 9 minutes long. No Place Like Home. If you click on the link, it will play all 4 videos in order on its own, FYI.

I love this whole series though you will probably be less enamored if you’re not a comic geek.

From The Muppet Show, here’s Animal and Buddy Rich having a drum-off.

Two skateboarders fill a skate-bowl with balloons and ride around in it.

Sifaka lemurs in Madagascar get around by leaping everywhere. Looks like fun.

If you have a couple hours to kill, there are countless interesting, funny, or weird videos at VideoSift.com. WARNING: Addictive.

Charlie the Unicorn. Your brain will never be the same.

Next up: Lords of the Bling: The Two Ta-Tas.

A local favorite from Portland…Pontifex vonHummer.

Flight of the Conchords

Catchy, silly, fun songs. Try “Business Time” and “If You’re Into It.”

A very funny demagogue, Pat Condell . Does a good bashing of religion.

Posted in the other thread but still my favorite The Evolution of Dance

Another favorite Whistle Tips Go Wooo!

Do you like dogs? Dogs that dance? How about dogs that dance competitively to show tunes?

Some of my favs:

Just a Friendly Little Cat

I think he comes across as an idiot. Rob Zombie, on the other hand, is great!

the maker of the documentary DIY or DIE put the entire DVD on YouTube. Interesting docu on independent artists, definitely worth a watch.

Don’t forget other sites. Atom Films is my favorite, they have some marvellous shorts in all genres there. Check out the Comedy section and SciFi/Horror, some of the stuff is brilliant.
