A couple of months ago I saw a commercial. I don’t remember what it was for, but there was a guy failing at whatever on one side of a hedge. Could’ve been trying to use a grill that was falling apart. On the other side of the hedge is his No Nonsense Neighbor, touting the virtues of his grill or whatever. I think the actor was Scott Glenn, but I’m not certain.
No Nonsense Neighbour is sitting at a patio table, and there’s a raccoon next to him. He passes the raccoon a beer or soft drink in a can, then looks at the camera and says ‘Yes, I did.’
Is this commercial available online? Also, what was it for?
I have seen this commercial in passing with the sound muted. I hadn’t noticed that there was a raccoon in it. I like raccoons. Also, that’s not Scott Glenn.
Last night I was looking for the cat, who was someplace in the house. The pizza guy came with our pizzas. I paid, then went to look for the cat. I heard the SO say, ‘Hey! Get outta here!’ She said a very large raccoon came to the door and was looking through the screen. I guess he wanted some pizza.
I like seeing raccoons around. My friend who owned the house before me used to sit in the back yard and feed them. (Bad idea.) I don’t do that, but I have no problem with them. The SO scares them out of the yard whenever she sees one. She admits they’re cute, but doesn’t want them near the house.
