I finally got the job promotion I’ve been wanting. My manager made me the offer today, I thought about for .0000067 seconds and accepted and I start in my new position the 21st!
I’ve tried not to post too often about this (I think this is my 3rd thread, maybe 4th) but thanks to all those who sent me well wishes in trying for this. My primary objective was just to not have to be in the union but after seeing the potential money involved, I’m very glad I did this. 15% increase in my base pay and readily attainable potential to more than double my current salary through the commission plan. Perfect timing too, since we close on our condo middle of june. heh, I think I’m babbling now…but the main gist is WOOHOO!
