Kate (whom so many of you know) is four years old today!
I can’t really share the TMI stories because there hasn’t been that many (outside of the normal diaper stuff). All I can say is how lucky I am to have a cheerful, assertive, helpful kid in the house. I can only hope I get lucky enough with the next one coming in July.
Many of you have known Kate since she was little. I think the first Dope-A-Ween was held when she was about 15 months old or so.

So she’s four now. She’s getting (and doesn’t know yet) a big-girl bed today. And it has princess sheets! What more does any kid need!
A party today at school and one at home on Saturday with some of her new friends here in Ohio! Woo! The sugar shall fly!
Happy Birthday to Princess Chance! And congratulations to JC and Lady Chance on raising such a cute, wonderful little girl! Already four, now only 9 more years until she’s a teenager, and 12 more until she’s asking for the car keys. Boys will appear in there somewhere on the scale, hopefully toward the older end, but one never knows…
Happy birthday, little Miss! Unfortunately, they really go through a huge change at this age. This is when they cut the umbilical cord (sniff!) and start really growing up fast. The baby has left the building, so to speak. But lots of good stuff starts at this age, too. You can almost see the wheels turning inside their heads. They’re so cute at this age. I loved “Four.” Have fun!

If you’re looking for something really cute to go along with her new big girl bed and princess sheets… look at this and this. My daughter has a purple one ('cause she says she “hates” pink). It looks really neat over her bed. Your daughter would probably love it!!
