I was re-watching some old episodes of Buffy (season 5 I think) and noticed that Willow and Tara had adopted a kitten.
Whatever happened to the kitten? I can’t remember seeing it in any later episodes.
I can’t recall right now, but if you read aint it cool, the writer known as hercules has been following the kitten.
I believe it’s name is “fantastico”, but I could be wrong…
I believe the kitten was named “Miss Kitty Fantastico”

I don’t believe that Miss Kitty Fantastico’s fate has been explicitly mentioned, although my personal belief is that the kitten wandered away from home and was used as currency in a demon poker game.

I started a thread on this very subject a while back.
Willow and Tara adopted the kitty in S4, but never actually named her- I think that, in true mystic fashion, they were waiting for the kitty to reveal her name to them. They were calling her Miss Kitty Fantastico until the true name was revealed.
Miss Kitty Fantastico’s last appearance on the show was in the S5 episode “Family”. She hasn’t been seen since. No explanation has been given for her disappearance.
Also inexplicably missing is the (spoken of but never seen) pterodactyl that Dawn gave birth to in “Once More, With Feeling”.
Willow mentioned Miss Kitty in ep 10 to Kennedy, but that line was cut, so the mystery continues.
If you want to talk about missing pets, what about Dru’s puppy “Sunshine” the vampoodle from season two? The ep was Passion. Sunshine was an orphan - her owner died…without a fight.

If indeed Miss Kitty was used as currency in a poker game, I go with the theory espoused by a Clem FanSite- that Clem actually finds all his winnings good homes & just lets the other demons think he eats them.

I believe (yeah, I’m just a tad bitter) that Miss Kitty Fantastico got a look at the future of the show and, being a cat and therefore sensible, got the heck out of there while things were still relatively good.
Unfortunately, Mutant Enemy’s ability to produce anything I would be willing to watch was caught in her collar at the time.
Did I mention bitter?
If they’re completely glossing over the facts on whether or not Buffy’s death will spawn a new slayer, then the care, feeding & existence of a kitten is probably not on their radar. Might as well wonder how they’re making ends meet now that Willow’s back and only one of the eight people living in that house has a job, and it’s a sucky one at that.

Ethilrist - I’m sure that Buffy gets SSI for Dawn. Plus, as a responsible parent, (especially with medical problems) I’m sure that Joyce had life insurance. Plus, there’s dear old dad in LA…Almanzo probably pays child support. The big question is why he hasn’t taken Dawn in to live with him.

They don’t know where he is. When Buffy died, they heard he was in Spain, but they couldn’t get a hold of him.
Yeah. I haven’t watched at all this year, but I’m keeping up on the spoilage and the episode discussions on Television Without Pity. It’s sort of like a nicotine patch for me.

OTOH, one would expect that in a demon-riddled town like Sunnydale, where buildings are demolished with regularity, Xander is paid enough to keep the crew fed. Either that, or they found Anya’s stash from Him.
The bit where they discussed why she hadn’t told them her name yet never happened - it was part of Willow’s dream in Restless.
And Spike has that little demon-egg business…
No, he probably got out of that after Buffy and Captain Cardboard blowed up the last batch. And what with being all soul-having now, flashing his gameface and demanding people hand over their money is probably out of the question, too.
I imagine that between Buffy’s and Xander’s jobs, SSI, Anya’s insurance settlement from when Willow trashed the Magic Box, her ill-gotten gains from the robbery in “Him”, and anything Andrew has left from his share of the funds he got from the demon bank robbery in “Flooded”, they’re probably doing OK.
If they really get strapped, Spike could probably find work as a male stripper… hell, I’d put a dollar in his g-string. (Incidentally, when is Xander going to tell the rest of that story? Wild horses couldln’t drag it from him, but I bet TFE could) Alternately since Spike’s getting the chip out between eps 13 and 14, he could “prostitue” himself to lonely young ladies who get off on having their blood sucked.
