Yet another "hate crime" revealed to be a hoax by a leftist

Frequently they’ll be charged with filing a false police report, perjury (when they’ve given sworn statements) and/or obstruction of justice.

Roasted brussel sprouts with bacon is awesome.

I deplore the actual examples of false reports but I’m not convinced your extrapolation to “a significant percentage” is supportable.

Just eggplant by itself roasted with a little olive oil and salt is awesome.

Also too grilled. Though that benefits from addition of garlic and fresh basil.

Bacon without the sprouts is even more awesome.

BACON

A number of people have faked their death or have been declared dead via internet rumors. Does that mean I should by default give paused even after confirmation of a person’s actual death?

What gives me pause is your apologetics for an authoritarian kleptocrat whose antics have resulted in spillover attacks on people.
Hate crimes are on the increase. Your ability to find some faked incidents is baseless handwaving from a hate-driven regime.

Okrahoma, why are you a leftist flying a false flag?

You have to substitute bacon for the sprouts. Otherwise, all that’s left is not enough bacon.

A ceramic plate with bacon is awesome. Just don’t eat the plate.

Hey, Okrahoma, I have it on good authority that this guy’s a leftist! Get him!

Of course, I guess I’m one too. Well, I’m left-handed, if that counts.

Why not? IT TOUCHED BACON.

Because of the potential of not being able to enjoy more bacon in the future. May I suggest using a piece of toast to wipe the remaining essence of bacon from the plate to transfer to your palette. Or even better, buttered toast.

Or even better yet, MORE BACON.

No, I love potatoes. But my family are trying to cut down on our carbs. This was surprisingly tasty.

I’ve been trying to cut back on carbs, too; very rarely prepare white rice or white pasta (AKA “rice” and “pasta”) these days.

But I refuse to skimp on me spuds. I figure they’ve got to have lots of healthy vitamins and minerals in 'em, otherwise the Irish would refer to Famine Queen Victoria as the Diabetes Queen.

FWIW, I think your cauliflower recipe sounds delish.

What the cauliflower and Brussels sprout haters are missing, is the delightful contrast between the crunchy sourness of the vegetable, and the rich creaminess (often sweetened) of the sauce.

Another reason to oppose hoaxes is because the hoaxes can get more attention, on a case by case basis, than the real crimes. The Tawana Brawley case probably got more attention than several real rape cases combined. The Duke lacrosse case (not technically a “hoax,” but false accusation) got more attention than several real rapes might have; same for the University of Virginia Rolling Stone article.

Really, from a tactical standpoint, not worth it.

Yep… I don’t think anyone here is arguing in favor of hoaxes.

Here’s one recently arrested:

ISU professor arrested, accused of making up threats and attack

Oh, come on. WALRUS IN CENTRAL PARK ZOO SPEAKS? How can you NOT be in favor of that?
