Yet another "Name That Tune"

This one’s going to be a challenge. In the 1990s (I can’t recall hearing it more recently), there was a piano solo, mostly played during public service announcements but I also heard it on PBS nature shows a couple times. It is NOT “Trois Gymnopedies”, “Sirius”, or any other title that’s been suggested. It starts with several notes played in the treble/right hand range, and then the left hand joins in after a few seconds. It was one of those tunes that probably wasn’t all that hard to play, but somewhat more challenging to play correctly. Sorry, I can’t post an audio link, and you wouldn’t want to hear me try to sing or hum it anyway.

Even Lord Vinheteiro hasn’t played it, to my knowledge.

It would help if you could give us the notes (just pick them out on a keyboard) and an idea of the time signature and tempo.

The beginning sounds like the 4-note “riff” of “Andante Adagio” but in a slightly different key and rhythm.

Thing is, I know the title, but not the composer, and this phrase is proving to be one of those Cruelty to Google Users things.

Bachs?

Found the tune with the “4 note riff”; in this recording, it’s at (among other places) 1:08, but in the solo piano piece, those four notes are single, and more syncopated.

Ahhh, Haendel. :hugs:
