My favorite was the Texas utilities company, EL PASO GAS.
Sadly, they have since changed their name . . .
A couple of weeks ago I saw a truck belonging to Deathwish Piano Movers. A week after that, I saw a truck for the Edifice Wrecks demolition company. (I was quite upset that I was the only one who found the last truck incredibly funny.)
Not long ago I saw a business van at the gas station. I liked the name so much I complimented the guy, who turned out to be the owner of Mighty Ducts heating and air-conditing service. I told him he restored my faith in the ability of a business owner to be creative.
I suppose that mitigates the hair salon I must pass every day, Kidz Cutz R Uz. Every time I see it, I think “Kids’s cuts ooze.” But worse is the salon in the next town over – A Cut Ahead. Oh that’s a great advertisement; go in and they’ll cut your head! What, off???
