4 inches on the bricks out front (5 in the grass, but I know that doesn’t count) And it’s still falling. Pretty, pretty, pretty.
My GF couldn’t get up the mountain this morning after work. We Had to go get her and abandon the shaggin-wagon at the bottom.
It don’t matter how much it snows now, I’m f’ing stuck at work. Of course I took the train to work so I don’t really care. I’m just suprised that the Feds didn’t close up shop. The bastards.
It takes a lot to get the Federal government to close. They do have their unscheduled leave policy in effect, though, and I’m taking full advantage of it.
We’ve got 5 inches of snow on my front walk. They plowed the road through my neighborhood sometime before I got up around 4am, but that’s vanished under plenty of new snow. At every house I can see, the cars are in the driveways, buried under snow. I’m not going to be the exception.
Lazy day ahead. 
I’m f’ing at work too. But the law school closed for the day so that means the evening students get off too! Yay! A half day for tramp!
Involuntary snow day for me - Valkyrie’s workplace is open, but the Tzeroling’s school is closed. So that leaves me to stay home and watch the snow fall.
Not that I’m complaining, mind you.
Yeah! School’s out! Second day in a row!

Freezing rain and sticking snow. Maybe we’ll miss tomorrow, too. It is only a Friday, after all. 5-day weekend! Woo-hoo!
It’s my last year in high school, and I hope this isn’t my last snow day here.

Me 'n Bluesman celebrated appropriately before coming downstairs :D, and now we’re all getting ready to go sledding, with the prospect of cocoa and hot buttered rum afterwards.

Snow day here for schools. I am surprised, kinda sorta, but not really, you know? I’ve never had a snow day in my entire life, and odds are the Bug won’t be back at school until at least Monday.
Did I mention I took the damn FERRY to work today?
Y’all should have seen the Potomac at 6:30 this morning.
I saw the Potomac in winter on the news once. It was eating a plane.
