Yes my account was banned (so I am correct) but in error (so um that nullifies your statement). And SDMB posters did in fact call his home. So his privacy was invaded. Wish I knew what the hell was going on. Gigoloman, I received only two emails from Mickey. I responded to him that he should not take any of this lightly and that he should speak to the moderator, David. He did that. He asked David to cancel his account and David forwarded that request on. I don’t see what David did wrong in this situation.
I do think that someone called this guys work and house. I think that is a shitty thing to do, and very damn unnecessary. I wish Mickey would come back.

I see no threat here, and lets stop making “threats” out of every day comments. If yesterdays events with Mike were allowed to so easily pass by, then todays comments by me, should find no ill will from anyone.
I cant even see a veiled threat, what is seen is a topic for debate at most an innuendo that Monty isnt nearly all the man he acts to be here, and that in a public setting he would never be so eager to “battle” everyone.
I think he may consider it, but after quite a long break. I got an email from him today, said he is still being called, and that the SPD was getting involved. Oh Well huh?

With the continued assertion by Gig that something that did not happen did happen (and to someone else), I’m going with answers (a)(4) AND (b)(4).
As an actual member of the Order of the Arrow myself and formerly Fist Class Scout (I left scouting to join DeMolay http://www.demolay.org because I really didn’t have time for both; wish I did though), I consider this posting my good deed for today. How’d I do, Melin?
I just noticed that “GigoloMan” (with a capital M) and “Gigoloman” (with a lower-case m) are different accounts. The one with the capital M shows up on page 2 of this thread as “unregistered”, while the one with the lower-case m shows up on page 3 of this thread as a “member”.
Perhaps that was what Gigoloman was ranting about when he spoke of someone “banning” his account.
The truth, as always, is more complicated than that.
Folks, I think it’s reasonably evident that Gigoloman = GigoloMan = MikeylikesIT = FORMERAGENT, etc. I’ve banned this account but the guy, who is obviously a prankster with a lot of time on his hands, will likely show up again in some new persona soon. Short of banning hotmail and similar free e-mail registrations altogether, I can only suggest that you ignore contentious posts from a new user who wants to reopen this whole issue - it’s probably him. Pls notify David, TUBADIVA, or me if he shows up.
