As others have pointed out, urine is sterile and, unless shot into the eye, harmless. But most of us do wash our asses in there, which is–to put it mildly–not sterile, or harmless. I am sure that all SDMBers, as the champions of logic that we are, know this.
So, Mr. or Mrs. Pee-Is-Disgusting, if you’re not peeing in the shower, then you surely wouldn’t do something so nasty as to deposit your butt-resident bacteria in there by washing, either. That leads to the question: where are you doing it?
Besides, which is cleaner (for the person, which is presumably the object of a shower): taking a shower, then peeing, or peeing while taking a shower, where you have access to soap and water?
Maybe this got lost in the debate, so please allow me a moment to clarify: I don’t pee in the shower every single time I go in there. That was never my contention. I don’t think to myself “Hmmm. I gotta pee. I think I’ll take a shower.”
