I was considering starting this very thread, but then I thought I might be overreacting to someone who happened to get under my skin, and didn’t bother other people as much.

I don’t think she’s a troll, just really socially out of tune. She has posted a couple of remarkably intelligent things.

I can’t for the life of me remember what thread it was, but earlier this week she hijacked an otherwise interesting thread in IMHO or MPSIMS and I think a mod got involved. The behavior was so over-the-top rude that I really hoped someone would pit her, because honestly, if I had the time that day, I would have done it myself. And I’ve never pitted another poster before. (Does someone remember this? It’s driving me nuts.)

I am pretty sure that’s who they’re referring to. She changed her name to farmerjane after some annoying behavior and then was banned, iirc.

She didn’t get banned. Since you told me about her name change, I just checked her profile. She just left. mostly due to the response she got here. I never posted this before, but I’ll post it now: she convinced me pretty well that she wasn’t a troll (I was about 95% sure). This is even more proof–why would she leave just when people were starting to finally get mad at her? That’s when you reap your troll rewards.
I seriously doubt she is living_in_hell. That person is either a troll or someone far more socially handicapped that CP ever was. CP just didn’t understand the board culture. lih seems to not understand posting on the Internet. Or, worse, she understands it far too well.
