For the record, I say “Mip-Sims.”
You just might be a Doper if you immediately chime in with an alternative pronunciation for a word that probably never has to be said aloud. 
But I say “Em pee sims.”

The acronym “Em Pee Sims” comes into use in voice conversations between Dopers at Dopefests or even just two Dopers talking on the phone.
I do agree with your pronunciation of course as all right thinking people would.
