You Know What's Good? Hard Boiled Eggs and Almond Butter

Minutes ago, I smeared almond butter on a hard boiled egg. And it was yummers.

In fact, I have a notion for a new egg salad now. I’m gonna try it.

Hm, not something I would try - how about tahini?

[I have a 10 pack of singe serve/1 tbsp packets of tahini, and a case of ditto peanut butter - I like the Chinese takeout sesame noodles, and I faked it with peanut butter once and now I prefer peanut butter to sesame, leaving me with most of the single serve tahinis. How I fake it: 1 package of [add water and nuke ramen](Amazon.com), and since I like the veggies, I also bought dehydrated veggies [cabbage, onion, broccoli, corn, peas, carrots] and add about a quarter cup [lift the brick out, and pour the veggies under, shake to level and put the brick back in] then add water and nuke. Let stand in the microwave for an additional few minutes to make sure the veggies all rehydrate. Pull out, squeeze in the tube of peanut butter, add the flavoring packets and stir it all up. I also add a couple drops of sriracha and a dab of hoisin sauce.

I make egg salad flavored like standard deviled eggs - just chop everything, dump in a bowl with fine dice cucumber [no seeds] fine dice carrots, fine dice celery, fine dice radishes, the mayo, the mustard, a drop or 2 of sriracha, and a sprinkle of paprika. I add a bit of salt to mine, but leave it unsalted for others. Really great in butter lettuce leaf rollups.
