I was reading a book and came across a phrase that I didn’t know. For a minute there I decided to just do a copy and paste to find the information on Google. :smack:
I think I need to spend a little less time online!
You know you spend too much time online when you neglect your kids that you just got custody of, forget to pay the utilities bill, let your apartment go all to hell and when the phone rings, yell, “PHONE!!!” at the top of your lungs because you are “too busy” playing “World of Warcraft” and don’t want your character to lose all his equipment.
Unfortunately, this is actually a guy I know. It happened right while I was there trying to give him information on low income apartments that I had spent the day researching for him because he was “too busy” to do it himself. When I got to his apartment that evening, he didn’t even answer the door himself, he had one of his kids do it. Then after waiting 20 minutes watching him “Shake down” a character in World of Warcraft, he let me go over the information, but only at the computer. Yes, he would not leave the frikkin computer.
The man has a problem.
