I can’t stand Andy Samberg, so I avoided Brooklyn Nine-Nine for years. However, the presence of Terry Crews and Andre Braugher got the better of me, and then I fell in love with Stephanie Beatriz. So, despite Samberg but because of Crews, “Diaz,” and the Captain, I watch it. Do you have shows like that?
NCIS: Los Angeles. I could do without having to see Chris O’Donnel’s face ever again.
Brooklyn 99 is high on my list, too… I don’t hate Samberg, in general (The Lonely Island is awesome), but I mostly find him insufferable in this role. Also not a huge fan of any of the ladies. Terry and Holt are the only real reason I watch the show. But they’re awesome enough to carry the rest of the cast with no problem.
I’ve always liked “Bones,” but despise Bones (not the actress). Can someone be that socially inept and career-successful at the same time? I couldn’t work for someone like that.
I love “Silicon Valley” but I have really come to dislike Richard, the main character.
This is the exact reason I still haven’t watched an episode of that show. Can’t stand Any Samberg.
I liked DS9, couldn’t stand Avery Brooks in it.
I was just thinking the other day, I pretty much hate EVERYBODY (Except maybe Winn) in Supergirl.
I still watch because I dig the cameos and tributes.
Eliza Dushku seemed like the weakest link on DOLLHOUSE.
I liked how I met your mother. Really hated Teb Mosby.
That’s funny, it’s exactly the opposite for me. By FAR the best part of that show is Melissa Benoist.
The later seasons of Scrubs had the same problem. Show was awesome, but JD sucked.
I liked the show Rescue Me but Tommy was insufferable. It was also gross how Dennis Leary would constantly write hot women throwing themselves at him.

Loved the first few seasons of “Roseanne” but have never been able to stomach the woman herself. She was the weakest link in the onscreen cast.
Does Joe E Ross on “Car 54, Whete are You?” count? He was co-lead with Fred Gwynne. But I can only take so much of his “ooo! ooo!” routine.
I can’t stand most of the knuckleheads on Deadliest Catch. I really only watch hoping they sink or go bankrupt.

I’m late to this thread, but DS9 and Avery Brooks is an original thought and not borne of seeing his name in this thread twice. Really! 
His acting was uneven and on many occasions overdone.
I like The Last Man on Earth, but I totally despise the character Will Forte plays (which seems to be the same character he always plays.)
2 1/2 Men anyone? Proof that anyone can star in a TV show with the right supporting cast.
Ditto Will & Grace. Jack and Karen carried that show.
