Supposed? Nah, it definitely happened.
Hey, at least he had clothes on. On the whole, Harry presents himself as an earnest, intelligent, and dutiful royal. On the whole, there’s a lot more to like than dislike about him. Bieber and Cyrus, on the other hand…
Frankly, plenty of teenagers behave badly, if Instagram is to be believed. But they don’t get press when they are seen smoking weed or drinking underage or dancing suggestively.
I’m not so sure that wearing a Nazi uniform “for fun” is likeable. Certainly it denotes a set of values that may fall somewhat short of being universal.
we’d call it “the 27 club”.
Normally I hate to see kids go astray but Beiber and Cyrus are making that difficult. What a pair of douche bags.
And I’m not so sure that you should conflate “wearing a Nazi uniform” with “being a Nazi” …especially if it’s a dress up party.
Over Halloween there were seemingly dozens of stories about the outrage! over people wearing offensive costumes. Wearing a costume that might offend people is normally not the same thing as being what that costume represents. It can happen, and a costume can be stupid or thoughtless. But the outrage! over Harry was as manufactured nonsense as the outrage! over Miley.
[hijack] Apparently you have the same trouble creating acronyms that I have. But I usually keep going with the first word. I would probably have called it FRI. [/hijack]
Particularly as a noted magazine later pointed out that journalists from the outraged newspapers were in the habit of wearing nazi outfits as well as nun’s uniforms at their bashes year after year.
Anyway, if I remember correctly that person was wearing Afrika Korps gear, not SS stuff.
