Your best "party tape" transitions

Back before the dawn of the CDR revolution, my buddies and I threw parties that became uncomfortably notorious. One of the tasks that each of us had before each party was to create a “party mix” tape for the party. This was no trivial task - I usually spent 3 to 4 hours creating a 90 minute tape. Although I imagine we each had our preferred method, it seems that it went something like this: pick a song, drink beer or tequila/have a toke, pick a song and so forth until the 90 minutes were up; backing up and redoing if it started to feel “not right”; albums scattered all over the floor thinking about what should go next. We all took great pride in the overall “feel” of the tapes.

I imagine that this still goes on.

So, what I want to know is: what song to song transition is your favorite?

Mine is *Our Lips Are Sealed * to Pearl Necklace.

I still crack me up.

Please state your reasons, also. In my case, the beat is almost identical (good for getting people to stay on the dance floor), the huge contrast in style (bubble gum to hard driving rock adds a humorous, lively element), and, er, the script of the overlying “movie” indicated by the lyrics.
