“Sylvia’s Mother” by Dr Hook & the Medicine Show
Diiioh!
Sorry! Couldn’t help myself. As you were!
One earworm I really hate when I’m either jogging or cycling is the theme from The Beverly Hillbillies. Arrrrrghhhh! :smack:
Q
“Caballo Negro”, a cool mambo by Perez Prado and His Orchestra, which was used in some pivotal scenes in Alejandro Jodorowski’s film “Santa Sangre”.
I love the song, and it was cool to have it playing in my head for about a day, but it’s been going on for over 48 hours now. It’s driving me nuts!
At the moment:
One Eyed One Horned Flying Purple People Eater
(Credits to Monsters vs Aliens)
Taylor Swift. A cross between Mine, Love Story, and You belong with me (they all kinda run together now).
And I hate the woman! GAHHHHHHH get me some feminists stat
Cuccurucucù paloooooomaaaaa.
(Though actually it is the last bit where he sings about all the English song titles that is really stuck in my head.)
Ever since stumbling across this in a YouTube browsing session this week, I can’t seem to get enough of Metallica-Enter Sandman (Smooth Jazz Version)
Smooth Criminal, thanks to the fantastic dueling cello cover of Stjepan Hauser and Luka Sulic.
I think it’s finally out of my head, but for the past month I’ve had Daddy Fat Sax and Shutterbugg by Big Boi in my head. It didn’t help that I listened to those two songs back to back a hundred times.
Tom’s Diner, by Suzanne Vega. A FB friend posted the video.
I whip my hair back and forth!! I can’t help it
Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon, because I heard All Summer Long by Kid Rock on the radio yesterday.
My dog looks at me with concern when I sing it aloud, “AAHWOOOO…”
Maybe this will fix it.
Ha good one - now it’s worse!
Currently Van Morrison’s Bright Side Of The Road which is better than what I had.
You Are The Wind Beneath My Wings. I got it from a friend … curse her, even if it was meant as a compliment.
The theme from “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego.” Third day straight.
Reading about Debbie Gibson and Tiffany in that sci-fi movie brought up “Only In My Dreams”. I went to Grooveshark to listen. I’ve been ‘listening’ in my head ever since.
Prior to that, “Everybody (Rock Your Body)” by Backstreet Boys.
Backstreet’s back, ALL RIGHT!!!
Today?
Deaf Pedestrians “Dharma Moraine’s Automatic Armor”
Yesterday was “Blurry” by Puddle of Mudd.
