John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmitt (aka what's your current earworm?)

It’s getting really old, too. I mean it started out already really old but it’s quickly driving me quite batty. What’s stuck in your head?

Well, I have a horrid feeling you have just given me a new one, but before I saw this thread it was “Look Out There’s a Monster Coming” by The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band. (God alone knows why. I once owned the album it is from, but I haven’t heard teh song played for many years.)

Thanks to this thread, it was Chad Mitchell Trio’s The John Birch Society. Today I discovered its sequel The George Bush Society

Not sure where it came from, but right now it is Eternal Flame (The Bangles.) I don’t remember hearing it lately, but it is in my brain right now.

I’m not one to look behind, I know that times must change
but over there in Barrytown they do things very strange

I was visiting a local watering hole for my job on Tuesday and the song My Humps was playing. Almost had it out of my head when Mrs. Hollister said something about a woman’s huge boobs. Then it started all over again. Ugh.

Alan Jackson’s “Good Time.” Apparently, this version comes with a footworm, cause this involves line dancing.

Mother’s Little Helper

Baby Beluga - I think Raffi?

Goddammitsomuch.

[mod hat on] Moved MPSIMS --> Cafe Society

[mod hat off] “This Sky,” by Derek Trucks – I quite deliberately listened to it before going for my walk, whence I just returned.

Come on, people now. Smile on your brother.

It was on the radio in a coffee shop I just walked by.

I was thinking about this exact thread yesterday when I couldn’t get We Wish You a Merry Christmas out of my head.

The Dutchman from the latest Celtic Thunder CD.

“Dear Margaret remembers that for me.” Which is not good, because it makes me kind of sad.

I’m getting clo-ser tooo my hooo-oo-ome.

Just that one line, too. Over and over and over again.

Maybe, by Alison Krauss & Union Station. A beautiful song that I heard in the car three days ago, and it’s still in my head.

Well, NOW it’s “John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmitt.” Thanks for that.

This is the song that never ends
Yes it goes on and on my friends!

The jingle from the JG Wenthworth commercial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbGw3A9Dg-Q
wimper Please make it stop.

Lately it’s been the Shaun the Sheep theme song. He even mucks about with those who cannot bleat…

Don Williams’* Some Broken Hearts Never Mend*.

A couple of days ago Coming of Age by Damn Yankees was playing on the radio and that’s been stuck in my head.
