Your favorite de-stressing music?

I am really stressed right now. Please link me to your favorite soothing music. Thanks.

One of my favorites is the The Lark Ascending:

Yo-Yo ma plays *Gabriel’s oboe *and The Falls from the movie “The Mission.”

Art of Noise - Moments In Love

Cliff Martinez - Is That What Everybody Wants

Gary Numan - Slowcar To China

Ravi Shankar - Raga Jog
Ravi Shankar - Raga Bhairav
Ravi Shankar - Raga Simhendra Madhyamam

Covenant - We Stand Alone

Mystic Bowls, by Temple Sounds.

Also, Gabriel Faure’s collection of short pieces for cello and piano.

And, Bach’s lute music (some pieces Bach wrote for the lute, others have been transcribed for it).

Reminding myself to post a link to To Be Free, by Emiliana Torrini.

Can’t link, but The Mummer’s Dance by Loreena McKennitt - I drove across town in a rainstorm and listening to this made it almost painless.

Also soundtrack to Edward Scissorhands is just magical.

David Gray, January Rain

Yo Yo Ma, Bach Cello Suite #1 Prelude

I also really enjoy the Enya album “Shepherd Moon”. Not all of it is down-tempo, but overall, its a very calming set of songs.

Aphex Twin - Avril 14th

Sibelius - Andante Festivo

Edward Elgar - Nimrod from Enigma Variations

Low - Laser Beam

When I am stressed and have no access to music, I just run Clair de Lune through my head over and over.
When I have access, I listen to Nat King Cole, ragtime piano, or Horowitz playing Beethoven.

My current favorite soothing song is Phillip Phillips “Home”. I like it a little ore every time I hear it.

I put John Renbourn’s The Lady and the Unicorn on my mp3 player whenever I have to fly. Beautiful, calming and doesn’t require a prescription.
