Your favorite "fancy" pizza

Thin whole wheat crust with grilled chicken, eggplant, spinach, shiitaki mushrooms, garlic and 3 cheeses.

And I once had a seafood pizza with shrimp, lobster, baby squid, clams and mussels, with sun-dried tomatoes.

In Hungary I used to get one that was topped with chicken livers and cheese. And I liked it.

Oh, wait, you said “fancy.” I guess “chicken livers” doesn’t qualify as fancy.

Well then, I make a pizza with prosciutto, asparagus, kalamata onions, fresh tomatoes, and goat cheese which I simply adore. Drizzled with a little bit of extra virgin olive oil. Yum yum.

I’ve seen on the board that others don’t care for it but I have a real weakness for cheeseburger pizza. Dough, mustard, ketchup, shredded American cheese, ground beef, diced tomatoes, onions, and dill pickle chips. Absolute nirvana! Don’t ask me to rationalize it, I just like it. And the pickles are the best part.

Well, while I have a fondness for Thai Chicken and Spinach, Mushroom & Garlic pizzas, I’ll admit that I once had a Peking Duck pizza that was pretty tasty.

A local brewpub ( like everything else here, it is named “The Atomic”) has a shrimp with pesto pizza with a definite green sauce that is fantastic.

Also, I will second the accolades for the vegetarian pizza at our “Round Table” (three of them in the area).

While I never had that, it sounds good to me.

Especially if you used Vlassic zesty garlic dills. Actually, the only thing from your list I would leave out would be the tomatos (don’t care for raw tomatos)

From Gino’s Pizza: Chicken Pesto. Best thing ever.

Pesto sauce instead of tomato sauce, chicken, mushrooms, and sun-dried tomatoes. Just divine.

On the 4th Flander and I tried ice cream pizza for the first time. It was great! A regular pizza crust with a cheesecake type gooey layer on it, then covered with apple pie filling. It was cooked nice and hot then topped with vanilla ice cream, mmmm. It was great!

Is eggplant, goat cheese, and roasted garlic weird enough? It seems pretty normal to me, but maybe I’ve been living in the Bay Area too long.

Sun dried tomatoes, lots of chunk crab meat, red onions, roasted red peppers, roasted garlic, mushrooms, LOTS of fresh mozzarella cheese and olives.
Wonderful!
