Forgot to mention that I saw The Who at the Kinetic Playground in Chicago, 1968 or 1969 … well before “Tommy” came out.They were fab 
I thought I saw Roger Daltrey walking on the street once in a red/white striped muscle-T when I was in junior high, but I must have been wrong.
Whoever it was had literally a Fashion Model level beautiful girl on his arm.
I’ve never been able to hear them other than albums, CDs, and MP3s.
Great Name for a come-back album: “Who: Ever-It-Was”
I Can’t Explain and Entwistle’s My Wife. I love the horns on the latter.
