Your favorite Youtube video (new thread)

You reminded me of the old TV show, and that lead me to the great (and sometimes cringe worthy) 30 minutes of 80’s cartoon Openings :

(Was Danger Mouse from the 80’s?)

My personal favorites are the Urban Ninja videos (the acrobatic ones, not the parody ones).

and

are good examples. The simplest way to describe them both is live-action Prince of Persia. Amazing stuff.

Apparently, I’m on a video game kick: Mister Rogers meets Donkey Kong. It seems so strange to see the typical Mr. Rogers personality and music in something so modern (well, '80s modern) as a video game. I think this, more than anything, shows how Mister Rogers is truly a man for all seasons- as well as a man who would be mortified by most games on the market today.

Sorry to interrupt the zombification of this thread, but I found a pretty cool YouTube vid. It’s a helicopter whose rotors appear to be spinning very slowly, yet it’s still flying. The effect is caused by a video frame rate that nearly matches the rate of the rotation of the blades.

In what appears to be a YouTube milestone, the comments are actually very helpful in explaining what caused the effect. My favorite part is that one user that seems to have noticed this, and, in keeping with YouTube tradition, added on to the end of his comment: “oh yeah, and DERRRRRR!”

I really enjoyed Rob Paravonian’s Pachelbel’s Canon rant from a link here, and I was checking out his other stuff.

Children’s Song really speaks to me right now. We are counting the [del]days[/del] seconds till preschool starts these days.

Oh, that video is the most bittersweet ever. I’m not a mushy person, but after seeing that…

A friendly message from the good folks at the ABB.

EARx, an amazing new product that helps control Ear Emissions.

Big hit at the hospital I work at: Diagnosis Wenckebach.

“Love and Darph”, the pilot for Tripping the Rift.

Sorry, no link to the YouTube clip due to being NSFW.

Bruce Baum spoofs Pussycat Dolls.

Well, would that fact that it’s on metacafe (and not YouTube proper), or that fact that it’s a tiny bit NSFW preclude me more from linking to the video I found of a team of Japanese women playing Taiko drums…nude?

(Funny story, really…I was actually looking for nose art of Soviet bombers when I stumbled across that one. Oh, the funny things you can find on an art blog! )

This waterpark prank is pretty funny.

I’m not sure what to make of this guy. I’m either slightly weirded out, or deeply in love.

Too odd to resist. Yep, Naked Japanese Stomp.

Not exactly a video but Alex Jones goes off the deep end!

My stepmother showed the family this clip. I never knew horses could do this for that long. Amazing.

And, with a zombie reply, World of Warcraft (is a feeling)

1970’s Kidvid nostalgia: The Tree Robbers

woops - typo: that should have been “The Three Robbers.”

Can’t remember - did I already post in with this bit from the old Dana Carvey show?
First Ladies as Dogs

I saw this today and absolutely loved it: Common Powerpoint Mistakes.
