Your favourite 'cool bits' from Reloaded

nothing deep and meaningful just tell us and describe if needs be your favourite scenes / fights / shots / moves from Reloaded
i) When Neo is flying to save Trinity and all the cars are whipping up behind him

ii) The way morpheous roles away from the car, slices it and then blows it up - followed by a shot atop the truck of a massive explosion on the bridge behind.

iii) Hugo weavings ‘Mr Anderson’ after neo has been speaking to the oracle - legendary.

It’s gotta be the head-on collision of the semis… and the ensuing explosion and Neo swooping in to save the day. Link’s reaction was fantastic. Totally identified with the audience.

The Burly Brawl.

Near the beginning, when the captains are holding their conference, Agent Smith drives up in a car with the license plate, “IS 5416”.

From The Book of Isaiah, chapter 54, verse 16:

Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

I’ll go with the only part I’ve seen- the ending. After seeing that ending four times, I have to conclude that all the flying cars following Neo are just outright sweet.

Is it just me, or did the part where Neo shoots out of the exploding skyscraper remind anyone of 9/11? ::shrug::

The Zion rave scene, and Neo’s first fight with 100+ Smiths. A couple of those “bullet time” shots gave me the same twinge as the Balrog in LOTR…

The semi crash looked waaayy too fake, but I loved those CGI-enhanced vistas of downtown Los Angeles, with freeway ramps all over. The twin ghosts were awesome as well.

I second the entire Burly Brawl as the best scene. People say it is too long and looks fake.

I say it is just the right length and is better than any CGI we’ve had yet.

I definately agree with the scene of the cars flying up behind Neo. It could have been a really tacky scene, but they pulled it off brilliantly!! I also liked when he was flying between the skyscrapers and made them ripple behind him.
I liked the way Neo would take off flying (the ground also rippling under him). Talk about giving the new Superman movie some ideas.

I would like to have seen more of the twins.
Fighting inside of the car was kinda cool.

I also liked the idea of the Agents and the Twins persuing Morpheus and Trinity, without really acknowledging each other.

Burly Brawl. Just like a video game. The scoring was amazing. Give that composer an award.

The ghost twins. I always wanted to be able to escape into a higher dimension. They showed the biggest downside, not being able to hang on to an object while phasing out.

The ending. Can’t wait for November.

Something that I didn’t catch until it was pointed out-- The sign that Neo uses to whup the tar out of all those Smiths, which I thought said “No parking,” actually says “No brawling.”

Heh.

I liked the whole thing with Persephone and Merovingian. Of course, I liked the fight/action scenes, but in terms of dialogue, etc., theirs was the best.

The werewolves and other things the Merovingian had as his henchman. How cool are you when your bodyguards are ghosts and werewolves? Cool enough to make orgasm-cake in your spare time.

And underated moment in the moive involves Merovingian.

Neo has fought off the initial onslaught from the Merovingian’s crew. There is a pause; the one dude looks down and sees Neo is bleeding. Cool techno music starts.

Merovingian says, “You see, he’s just a man.”

I just love that whole moment, when the music starts and the real fight breaks out.

Brilliant.

The freeway scene was great. Haven’t enjoyed a car chase like that for ages.

The climactic scene when Neo flies to rescue Trinity, and then when he restarts her heart.
The final scene where he stops the Sentinels.
The fight between Neo and the Merovingian’s bodyguards.

That one bit when Neo stops the sword with his bare hand, and freaked the hell out of everyone.

The Burly Brawl. (Did it get named that because of the soundtrack?)

The fact that the Twins spoke only in the plural. Made me wonder if there was only one mind there. Kind of like Smith.

The few steps to the other door, with every monitor showing that what the Oracle said is true.

Monica Bellucci

The spoon.

Tea-House. The roots of wire work and the best hand-to-hand combat scene in the movie.
