A few weeks ago, Innocent Schoolgirl decided to make me dinner. She wanted to make tiramisu for dessert. So we went out shopping for the ingredients we didn’t have.
Since she doesn’t own a coffeepot, I found some instant espresso for that part. Surprisingly good for instant, and drinkable on its own. But we really hit a snag looking for ladyfingers. Neither Wal-Mart nor WinCo had any, and frankly I wouldn’t know a ladyfinger if it were shoved up my bum. So, we substituted Nilla Wafers for the ladyfingers. And it turned out really good!
