My best prayers and wishes are with you both.
As the brother of a cancer survivor, I know all too well the horrors it entails. TubaDiva, my hopes and wishes go to you in your own and your family’s time of need.
Your sister and the rest of your family have my best wishes. I’ll be thinking of you all.
TubaDiva,
Keep your chin up.
My sympathy goes out to you and your family. I know just what it’s like to wait and worry.
My brother was first. He had a tennis-ball sized brain tumor at age 18. The doctors were not enthusiastic about his chances for survival. He is 49 now, and doing great. My mother had a bout with breast cancer ‘back in the day’ when radical mastectomy was the only treatment. she is now a feisty old timer. My sister had uterine cancer in her 30s. She is 45 and doing fine, even without some of that faulty plumbing.
I am the only one in the family who has not had some form of cancer…yet.
I suspect that for me it’s only a matter of time, but I am confident that if/when that day comes, my odds will be even better because of great medical advancements in the last several years.
I hope you can take a little comfort and strength from my example and let it reassure you that cancer doesn’t always win.
I’m pulling for you.
You too, Silent_Rob.
Praying for you and yours, Tuba.
To TubaDiva, TubaDiva’s sister and family, silent_rob and family, and indeed all those living under the pall of that dreadful disease – my best thoughts and hopes are with you all.
Think not the worst 'till the dawn comes. And even then, worry only about what is real.
Been there Tuba. The waiting is horrible. I’ll add my prayers tonite as well. Positive thoughts coming your way.

My thoughts are with you and your family.
Tubadiva…
I haven’t been around long enough to be friends with anybody yet, but I do feel your stress right inside of me because its something i have been through.
I hope she gets completely well, and soon!!!
Tuba, I’ll be thinking of you and your sister. It sucks to have to go through that all over again. I’m hoping for the very best results on the biopsy.
[sup][aside]I’ll be your friend, Watermelon Man, and I’m sure a whole bunch of other posters will too. You seem like a great guy to me. ;)[/aside][/sup]
Tuba and everyone else dealing with cancer {{{{{big group hug}}}}}. I wish you luck and stregnth.
Prayers and good thoughts headed your sister’s direction.
TubaDiva and family: Good luck today. I’ll be thinking of you.

My thoughts are with you too. Be sure to prepare for the worst and hope for the best!
My Mom made it.
Your sister can too.
Keep yer chin up, kid.
Praying.
Please let us know.
You know I don’t pray, but I can hope like nobody’s business.
Jess (hopin’ for the best)
TubaDiva, my thoughts are with your family. As a daughter and grand-daughter of (double-radical mastectomy) breast-cancer survivors, I feel for you (and hope I didn’t get the gene…)
[sub]Mom voice on…I hope all you women are checking and being checked regularly, especially those who have a family history like mine and Tuba’s. Okay, Mom voice off.[/sub]
And ////silent_rob\\ and ////Family\\, and ////all others\\ who have dealt with cancer in their families:
My thoughts and best wishes and hugs to you all.
Last week at the Post Office, I bought stamps, for slightly over the amount you would pay for regular postage, that are “Breast Cancer” stamps. The extra money you pay goes toward research for funding the fight, and finding a cure. I think it is another possible way to honor cancer victims.
