Least favorite lunch you ever had at school?
Some kind of meat, I don’t remember what it was called, that tasted so bad, I actually gagged. The rest of the meal was the usual stuff-- a few shards of iceberg lettuce for salad, some kind of really mushy vegetable, a slice of Wonder bread, and a stale cookie.
I cannot overstate how bad this meat tasted. It did not even taste like meat; maybe it was spoiled or something. It was sooooooo bad.
LF classmate you had in elementary school.
Margie - she was an autistic girl who looked like something out of an HP Lovecraft novel. She had lost her arm and had it replaced with a manikin arm with double clicky hooks for a hand. She had dirty blonde hair and a stare like a plastic doll with fluttering eyelids, depending on how you hold it. She’d pinch you with those hooks if you weren’t looking. Thanks for dredging up that dreadful repressed memory.

A horrible slum in NYC where a potential client lived. We got her out of there ASAP. Seriously, the toilet hadn’t flushed in weeks, so she did her business in a bucket, poured pee down the sick, and took the solids out with the trash. She had a space heater in her bedroom, because the heater went out at night a lot, and she slept on the roof in the middle of the summer when the AC didn’t work.

Vampyr. It was a terrible print, dubbed, not subtitled, and then, impossible to understand, because the print was so bad. Also, the film broke twice.
Now, Vampyr is a great film, but most people went away pretty disappointed, and a few were scratching their heads about the film’s reputation. I’d at least seen a better print before, so I knew it was just a bad print.

Peanut butter and honey. I preferred peanut butter and jam, but Sis wouldn’t eat anything other than PB&H for lunch, and Mom figured that it was easier to satisfy one child’s wants happily, than to have two children complain. So, she made school lunches appropriately. As so often happened in our family, I was ignored in favor of my sister.

The Expendables 2 - The film was just too cerebral for me and if anything Bruce Willis helped bring it down to a level I could deal with.
