This drag queen in my previous town, whose name eludes me, but he was HOT as a woman. I have never had that reaction to a drag queen before. He was a 6’2 black man who was strictly a drag queen-- he did it for shows, he never went out in drag just to run errands, or something, or, more to the point, for dates. He was gay, but he didn’t do drag for dates.

I ran into him at the opera once when I was by myself, because I was using someone else’s season ticket, since she wanted to go to a lecture, and she and he husband were both gone-- the person using her husband’s ticket was someone I didn’t know. I told him how much I liked his act (didn’t mention that I found him attractive, though). We talked about the opera for a little, then I saw him again at the end, and he offered to walk me to my car when I explained that I was alone.

MF heartwarming movie?

My Favorite Wife or, The Incredible Journey. Tossup.
MF movie that promotes a cause.

Philadelphia. It made us all aware that gays were people too, and that AIDS was a devastating disease that was deserving of more research.
Most favorite sports movie?

Cool Runnings. It’s a movie I could watch over and over, and I normally hate sports movies. If you want a more straight-up sports movie I like (but not necessarily one I would watch over and over), for some reason, I really like Miracle, and I don’t even like hockey. I just think it’s a great, tense drama.
Favorite techy-tech science movie (not sci-fi/fantasy, in other words).

My knee-jerk response would be The Imitation Game, but The Right Stuff might apply, too.
