Your MOST favourite....

Game of Thrones, hands down.

MF GOT character?

A reminder that you are actually supposed to tell us WHY the choice is your favorite!

Tyrion Lannister. He is imperfect, but intellectual and highly ethical. He and Varys are the only two who really seem to want what is good for the people above all other concerns.

What’s your MF Blues song?

Oops, right. Game of Thrones is generally true to GRRM’s books, which I love; has a great cast and generally good dialogue, epic battle scenes and stunning vistas, political intrigue, erotic scenes, etc. etc. etc.

Tyrion murdered his father and his ex-lover; he’s the top advisor to a monarch who roasts alive people who refuse to swear allegiance to her. Not sure “highly ethical” are the words I’d pick. Shades of gray, you know - GRRM’s good at that.

Lots of great blues songs out there; I think I’ll go with B.B. King’s “Into the Night” - something about his raspy voice and his guitar playing, and the thumping bass line, really get me: B.B. King - Into The Night - YouTube

MF single piece of Baroque music?

I know it’s been played to death since ‘Ordinary People’ was released, but Pachelbel’s Canon in D still takes the cake.

MF spice/seasoning?

Garlic makes just about any non-dessert a little better. Yum.

MF piece if music written for a movie soundtrack?

“Come Saturday Morning,” by the Sandpipers, written for inclusion in the film, The Sterile Cuckoo. It was subsequently released as a track on a Sandpipers LP, but it was written and recorded originally for the film.
Favorite Liza Minelli film?

Cabaret has never been topped.

Favorite Judy Garland film?

The Wizard of Oz

Favorite dragon?

Smaug. Far and above all the others.
Most Favorite children’s book?

So many great ones out there, but I think for today I’ll go with Barn Cat, a charming, rhyming counting book: https://www.amazon.com/Barn-Cat-Carol-P-Saul/dp/0316761133/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1520868238&sr=1-1&keywords=barn+cat

MF book that is definitely not for the kiddies?

Hard to choose, so I’ll go with “Sourcery” by Terry Pratchett. It might not be the best of the Discworld books, but the series is my favorite series, and Sourcery was the book where the series really started to shine. Up until that book, the Wizards had been written in a way that wasn’t all that funny and left very little direction for Pratchett to take them. So he wrote a book that seamlessly fit into the whole series and at the same time reset the paradigm for the Wizards, allowing them to fully integrate into the tongue-in-cheek world he created. And Pratchett would use the same idea of organically resetting storylines or taking them in different directions throughout the rest of the series.

MF beer.

So many to choose from, but I’d have to go with Fuller’s London Porter. Smooth and flavourful, and it paired perfectly with a smoke of Peterson’s University Flake pipe tobacco.
Favourite national chain pizza?

Not the London pride? That was my fav for while…
As for national chains…ugh…uhm…

I guess lil’ceaser’s for their 5 buck hot n ready deal, sadly.

Mint 'n Chip. Chocolate chips are yummy, mint is a great flavor. Together makes 'em both better.

Orange juice. Always liked it.
