Beethoven’s Ninth. It is inspiring, and contains the “Ode to Joy.”

Either the Mets or the Angels. I used to watch the Mets when I was in NYC, and when I was a kid, I liked the Angels, because they had some really good individual players, even if they never managed to pull it together.

Audrey Hepburn. She won the Oscar for Roman Holiday, but she was great in pretty much everything. I particularly liked her in Sabrina.

Tom Hanks is good in just about everything. I think Cast Away might be my favorite movie of his.

Pecan, but more than a sliver is enough to put anyone in a diabetic coma.

Tossup between raspberry jam and orange marmalade. Jam is for PB&J sandwiches; marmalade is for toast.

Eggs over medium, sourdough toast, bacon AND sausage.

Popcorn with butter, and a Coke. Costs the earth at the local cinema, but it’s my tradition when I go to the movies, so I pony up and pay for it.

Traditional no-frills nachos. Tortilla chips, refrieds, jalapenos, crumbled/shredded sharp cheddar.

plate of nachos with cheese, taco meat, black olives, and jalapenos
Your most favorite museum exhibit?
Peanut butter and jam sandwich, on white bread; with plain potato chips, and a glass of milk. Not very fancy, but very comforting.
The Magna Carta at the British Museum in London. As a constitutional lawyer and scholar, I found it a thrill to see, in the British Museum and in person, the document that first checked a king’s power, and circumscribed any power the government had over the people. It wasn’t perfect, but it paved the way for the constitutions we now have, all over the world.
