Your opinion on the Harry Potter Illustrated editions?

Here’s an example.

The only Potter book I currently own is a U.K. copy of Philosopher’s Stone that I bought a few years ago in London.

I donated my original Potter books to the library when I moved in 2012, I had to be brutal in thinning books and o knew at least the library could put them into their collection or sell as used books.

Are the illustrated ones worth the money? Don’t really need answer fast, I really don’t need any more physical hard copy books, I could just get them on kindle.

Bump, but I’m getting the hint that these are overpriced.

I like them, but oddly I dont find the book all that re-readable and I love re-reading YA fantasy.

I mean, I waitedin line to get them when they came out, or pre-ordered.

But re-read? not so much.

I like the illustrated versions. However, they’re large and, at least for the first two, the bindings aren’t very sturdy.
