I understood your reference. I didn’t hate that show, and i enjoy claymation. But i knew what you were talking about.
Bozo cartoons. Cheap Animation and terrible stories.
I remember all the cartoons, they used were terrible on The Bozo show.
The best parts were the games and Bozo’s prize chest. The interviews with the kids were often entertaining.
I quit watching by age eight because of the lame cartoons. It’s unfortunate they didn’t use Looney Tunes. That would have kept me watching the show for another year or two.

I was lucky to see the episode where David imagines tarring and feathering the boy who gets him falsely accused of marking the wet cement. And then they censored the scene.

Anyone seeing sexism in a show that features virtually all male characters, ad females in submissive/secondary roles is, of course being overly sensitive. /s I’m surprised the H word didn’t up. 
We ought to have different categories of awful.
- Creepy: exp: Teletubies
- Racist/Sexist: Hong Kong Phoody/Thomas
- Weird/druggy: HR Puffinstuff (personally was a big fan)
- Animation etc. etc. add your own.

The female characters are basically portable wombs, who can’t move without the aid of a male character. You really have to squint to see the sexism there 
Has anyone brought up that 1/2 hour advert for Post Cereals, the “Linus The Lionhearted” cartoon?
Don’t think I saw Sigmund and the Sea Monsters listed. I was a fan around age 4 or 5, but quickly lost interest. Only thing I learned was that the two pale and freckled boys would surely be killed by sunburn within a day in that environment without sunscreen. The theme song basically shows the whole series. Props to Billy Barty for playing Sigmund, though.
