The first thing I thought was “Indeed.” Then I re-read the OP and see I’m supposed to be responding to the caption in the picture. My next thought was “Gay.”
Craig has the opportunity but just isn’t cool enough for two popped collars.
Okay, I don’t know “Craig.” This is an ad that appeared in Seventeen magazine many years ago. I was twelve or thirteen, and even back then, I thought his expression was unnecessarily intense. Seeing it again, I thought of several possible responses.
“Meet Craig. Craig will kill you and eat you while you sleep.”
“Meet Craig. Craig is a homosexual.”
“Meet Craig. Craig wants to break the world record for receiving the most postcards.”
So the responses like Tao’s Revenge, twicks and Isamu are what I was looking for. Friend I sent it to said “What if I don’t want to [meet Craig]? Do I have to get a restraining order?” She also said that if he smiled, it would be more like “We-hell, Craig, how YOU doin’? ;)”

'He is a child molester, your childs new teacher and your new next door neighbor. Why don’t you invite him over for cookies?"
I’d say, “I’d rather meet Craig’s sister.”

I was confused as to which caption you were asking about; whether it was the MEET CRAIG or the other one.
I think it also would elicit a different response if I were reading the actual magazine (photo would be bigger for one thing).
I like the Cliff Notes to the side of the picture. Shows that Craig attracts the truly intellectual types, those to whom learning is a pure joy and something not to be shortchanged.
