After finally hearing of Modest Mouse for years, I finally heard a song by him (they?). " Float on." I don’t know, I was expecting something like either Belle and Sebastian or Weezer…and boy was I off the mark. The song is sort of growing on me, but are Modest Mouse and Stellastarr trying to start an early 80s revival? That song, and Stellastarr’s “My coco” and " Jenny" scream 1982 at me.

Hmmm, does stuff heard live count? Because I saw Bela Fleck and the Flecktones performing this week, and was astounded. The only songs I knew the names of, however, were “Wipeout” and a couple of Beatles songs.

gex gex I like the beat in that Usher song a lot, but the lyrics not so much. I liked " You Make Me Wanna" a lot, though.
