Preach it, Bro! I could have easily wound up in my present happy situation without all the wasted years and wasted tears of that failed first marriage.
Now, the first time I was heartbroken I was 15 and the girl was 14. That notwithstanding, she was too much girl for me. She wanted and expected things I didn’t yet know how to give.
If I had to go back through that with the same crappy ending, no thanks. If I could go back and be a little more mature, I’d like to try it. Maybe we’d stay together four or five months instead of three weeks.
