So Brucie says that schoolwork is going to keep him too busy to continue trolling.
I would suggest there are alternate explanations to his absence (in addition, I would suspect, to his soon being banned):

Parole has been revoked and he has to serve out the rest of his term.

His mommy discovered his porn site “research” and is going to take his computer away.

His doctor discovered Brucie hadn’t been taking his medication and when the levels in his bloodstream return to theraputic levels he won’t hear those voices telling him to post on the SDMB anymore.
Anyone else have any other alternative explanations?
Hoenstly, he got in over his head and couldn’t keep it up any more. (Okay, I shouldn’t discuss his sexual problems, but I digress)
It was no longer fun being a persona he couldn’t defend due to lack of knowledge. He had a choice between doing the biblical research and finding a better way to explain the shift key nonsense, fading away, or seeing how much he could milk out of self destructing. Kids are so lazy these days.
Personally, I would have been more entertained if he had kept going a bit longer. But again, I’ll stop quoting his prostitut…erm, girlfriends. The amount he did could have been done by any five year old with a tv. No creativity, no unique angle, and running at the first sign of needing to put out some substance. So much potential. So little effect.
Who the hell was “Bruce” in the first place? I never remember seeing the screen name (which, of course, speaks well of his noticability - that is to say, none).
