If you put a cat on a treadmill, will it take off?
Heh heh heh.
Heh. I like the one that keeps putting it’s front paws on the treadmill and running just with them.
Sometimes, a cat on a treadmill will NOT take off. ![]()
Reading the title I thought there’s no way someone else’s cat is doing what ours does… but it did, rear legs off the track and stationary while the fronts keep trotting along.
Now, if we can just get them to try the recumbent bicycle.
Heh heh heh.
This needs a bump. I even found a version that requires no ad roll through! HERE!
I couldn’t stop giggling when I heard the beeping begin.
Too funny!
Surprisingly, we only had two threads about this.
I’ve merged them and used Fish’s title because it was a little more descriptive.
I had to show that clip to my co-workers today. I love how the cat tries to slip onto the treadmill front feet first and ends up spinning 180 degrees.
That’s too funny. When it started going faster and faster and their little legs were just a goin’…
Was that tcka-tcka-tcka noise the cat’s feet impacting, or the motor? I guess it was the latter, but it was surprisingly in synch.
Anyway, I first watched this about twelve hours ago, and now as then, I am sure there is a smart cat and a dopey cat, but I still am wavering as to which is which. Did the dark cat act smarter by having fun on the treadmill whilst only using half the energy by keeping its hind legs on the ground, or was that a sign that it couldn’t get it together to use the thing properly and the mottled cat had the smarts to come in from the side and get into it (this cat was initially spun out by the motion of the belt, but it did recover mighty quickly).
