Because she was a YouTuber, who mostly did cooking shows, I put the thread here. I didn’t watch her regularly, but I was aware of her online presence and did check her out occasionally.
She died from complications of diverticulitis, compounded by morbid obesity. I don’t know how old she was.
I learned about her from the Wandas Macaroni Salad thread. If you offered me a wager at the time whether she’s be alive in 15 years I’d have bet the house on the under.
Whoa. I missed that thread. Yuck. I was actually surprised at the number of people saying they put sugar or condensed milk in their macaroni salad. My macaroni salad contains: salad-sized macaroni, diced white onion, diced celery, diced dill pickles, dill pickle juice (I always save the brine after I eat the pickles in the jar), Best Food mayonnaise, salt, pepper (sometimes I go bougie and use white pepper). I never add any extra sweetener, and most people like my mac salad.
I felt sorry for her. I’ve lost 60 pounds over the last year or so, and it wasn’t easy. I like sweets, but I could never eat food like that. And it was so soupy. It’d have to sit for at least 24 hours for the pasta to soak up all that juice.
