Yes, it was all supposed to lead to a Justice League trilogy and multiple spin-off movies. The “Snyderverse” if you will. Basically Snyder wanted to create a Marvel Cinematic Universe with the DC’s Justice League.
This is not going to happen.
Just the fact that he called it a “Five-part Trilogy” should demonstrate that maybe he should just stay away from storytelling.
Rolling Stone magazine is reporting that the Snyder Army which caused Warner to spend an extra $100 million was largely bots controlled by two marketing firms hired by… well, whaddya know, one Zack Snyder.
