Congrats!
How about Cecil for a boy or Cecilia for a girl?

Errr…see my post #5.
I don’t really care what the name is, as long as it’s written clearly and placed prominently on the kid’s clothing
Sorry… I missed that.
No, no, no, its letters should all look the same and the tag itself should be hard to discern from the rest of the clothing!
Thanks for letting me have my fun!
I can’t have a baby! One of us would put it down somewhere in this house and not be able to find it again. Besides, I’ve heard you have to dust them off now and then.
And what if it didn’t like Miles Davis or flamenco or Yeats or Colette? What if it rebelled and became a Conservative?
Besides, I ate beef and brocoli baby food once and it is vile. It takes a mean person to do that to a little child.
I get to have grandchildren though! My step-children have given me beautiful grandchildren!
Alice, you have a good memory!
Thanks, Zeldar.
Just to clear up one more thing: are you and **Zeldar **a couple, or was that part of the spoof too?
Yes, we’re a couple. We met on our old Commodore 64s before the internet. Kinda creepy when you think of it. Next January we will celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary if I can get him off the computer long enough. You are partly to blame, ya know.
BTW, nine what to the sky? Is it safe to ask?
I must say, it’s quite nice when you find out that two people you’ve been reading and interacting with are a couple. Next January, you say? I’ll make a note to ignore Zeldar then.
Mrs Nine (who has absolutely no interest in the Dope) and I had our 25th anniversary in February 2009, though we first got together in 1972, so we’ve actually been together for 38 years. Wow - it seems a long time when you write it down.
I just made it up when I first started going on BBs. I just like the sound of it. I have, though, since discovered that there is a Jimi Hendrix album called Nine To The Universe. I swear that I wasn’t aware of it at the time, though I suppose it’s possible I might have been subliminally influenced.
I was gonna’ say…to Zeldar, You GO Guy!
Yes, I knew both of y’all were nearly 'bout old as dirt, same as me. But the April Fool’s thing got me. I NEVER catch an April Fool’s joke until much later, if then.
My 25th will be this year too, in August. Anniversary for our first date is easy to remember because I took my blind date to the Auburn spring football game. Sure, the date may change a little, but the event stays the same and the variations make it interesting. It’s about the only thing I can remember. This year it’s April 17th.
If nothing else, it is comforting to know that you found true love ~40.
Auburn? And she married you ?!
Good one. Had me worried about you for a second and I was at Zanies.
Certainly. Being an Auburn woman, she is possessed of unusually good taste and infallible judgment.
Thats awesome.
Biff Tannen is a good name
This kind of news makes Mondays bearable.
The best April Fool’s joke is one that keeps on giving …
