Zoe has left the building

Thanks for the heads up on my PM situation, Zeldar. It looks like housecleaning is indeed in order. Thanks for thinking of me, I appreciate your efforts to let me know. And you’re very welcome for my words on Peg. She was a fine lady.

My condolences on your loss. Peg sounds like a wonderful person.

I’m so very sorry, Zeldar.

Damn it. I was thinking about her last week. I used to have a lot of problems and she always stood up for me. This sucks.

I’m sorry for your loss. I remember her posts and how passionately she stood up for her beliefs.

What’s really striking me in this outpouring of remembrances is how old (in terms of membership here) these posts are proving to be. Some relative newcomers, but most of us are old enough to remember when SDMB was “cutting edge” chat space. The glimmer may have faded some by comparison with newer toys and trinkets. But we old-timers (if I may dub myself one of you – 2003) can remember when we had to do manually what there are apps to do now. It’s heartening to be flooded with all these comments from the Old Guard!

Bless you all!

I’m sorry that I can’t say I remember interacting with Zoe, but any Doper’s loss is bad. I’m so sorry for your loss Zeldar. Is there anything we can do besides condolences?

May your good memories be of some comfort to you in your time of grief.

I’m so sorry that Zoe is gone. My condolences to you.

Zeldar, you have my sympathies. May your memories bring you comfort and may Zoe rest in peace.

Best wishes to you Zeldar, and may the memories of Zoe be sweet.

My condolences, Z.

I am sorry for your troubles.

My condolences, Zeldar. I hope that you are able to find peace with your loss.

Thank you for that wonderful write up on your experiences with Zoe, monstro.

I am so sorry for your loss.

:frowning:

I have to say that whenever I saw Zoe’s name in a thread I had to look to see what she had to say. Didn’t always agree but she was usually on topic, interesting and literate. The board is going to be (and has been) poorer without her voice. Sympathy to you and yours, Zeldar.

My condolences, Zeldar.

I remember Zoe well. We crossed swords on occasion, but i agreed with her far more often than not, and she was a valued and valuable member of the boards.

I’m very sorry for your loss, Zeldar. I never knew that the two of you were married.

I am so sorry to learn of your (and the board’s) loss. I cannot imagine what you are going through. You and Zoe were helpful to me when we relocated to Nashville. Thank you.

I hope I speak for the other locals when I say that if there is anything we can do for you to let us know.
