Zoe has left the building

Wishing strength to you, Zeldar. I’m very sorry for your loss.

There are three new photos of Peggy in her lighter moods on the first (maybe others) of those links in the OP ( http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/name/peggy-rushing-obituary?pid=1000000186323771&page=2 ) and if you happen to have similar shots you’re willing to share, please submit them there or send them to me.

We didn’t take all that many photos of each other, which I’m regretting now! Maybe y’all did!?

I’m so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family.

I’m sorry. Peace to you, brother.

My most sincere condolences, may you and your loved ones find comfort.

I’m very sorry to hear this. Zoe was a memorable presence on the board. She had a strong personality. I was wondering about her absence and am sad to hear this news.

My thoughts are with you.

I’m sorry for your loss, and for ours.

RIP Zoe You will be very missed.

{{{Zeldar}}}, To echo Maus Magill, if there is anything that you need, say the word.

I’m so sorry for your loss.

I’m so very sorry. May Zoe’s memory be eternal.

I remember meeting you and Zoe at Blackstone’s in Nashville. I remember both of you with fondness. I hope you find peace.

As monstro said, she will be missed on this board and elsewhere. Sorry Zeldar.

What a nice obituary. It describes her perfectly as I knew her here on the board. We talked a lot about books and art, and Paris and her trip there.

I may have known at one time that you’d met online but I’d forgotten. What a cool story and happenstance which led to such a loving and longlasting marriage.

And thanks for the additional photos. I had pictured her as sort of heavy-set bohemian woman whose manner and dress likely set her apart from most of the rest of society, but she was lovely. I kind of fell in love with her a little from that pic in her younger days. What a great smile!

I’m sure you miss her tremendously. My thoughts and prayers are with you today, Dave.

I couldn’t get a PM to take, so I’ll just say “Thanks for those kind (and accurate) words!”

I have saved what I was going to reply with so if your message space frees up, let me know. Or send me a PM telling another way I can respond.

Sorry, Dave, I still haven’t gotten around to cleaning up my inbox. I’m about to leave for the night but will leave a note to remind me to clear it out some when I get back home in the wee hours, and I’ll send a PM afterward to let you know.

Fair enough. FWIW, it’s mostly a glorified Thank You!

Don’t think I ever knew Zoe, but you were basically my first friend here, and I’m very sorry for your loss.

Deepest sympathies.
