Tomorrow – July 14 – is my 64th Birthday and I want to have my party here at SDMB. You are invited and I do hope you will come – newbies, Silent Eyes That Read, Guests, old friends, people who don’t like me, people who never heard of me, kids, older people, bored people, bizarre people, normal people and especially Fools on the Hill.
I really confess to liking presents though. Would you mind bringing something from a Beatles song or even from the lives of the Beatles? You don’t have to wrap it at all. You can wear it, drag it behind you or have it flown in.
I have the Yellow Submarine tanked up and ready to provide rides in the crystal clear lake out back. Just order whatever your are hungry for and summon a Doper you would like to meet perhaps.
I’m beginning the party a day early for those who have to adjust their schedules because of the weekend. I’m hoping that Vera, Chuck and Dave can make it!

I’m just gonna lay down here on the lazyboy and scoff some peanut butter brownies - I left the plate on the table if you’re hungry - they’re really good!
I’ll say. That tune is one of my favorite “turnaround” tunes like two gillion others from Heart and Soul and Blue Moon to All I Have To Do Is Dream but the 3-part harmony on this one is too fine.
Please note that that was done in 64, so it has double significance.
Sorry, but I’ll be unable to attend the party tomorrow. I’ll be in San Francisco for a DopeFest, followed by a birthday party. Sort of a Magical Mystery Tour, if you will.
But I’ll be sure to raise a pint to your health, and maybe wash it down with a Savoy Truffle.
