I am happy to report that not only did I buy it, I have also convinced several of my LJ buddies to do the same. It’s like a cult now…

I’m a big fan of Bloody Marys (tip: replace the Worcestershire with this), and this is something I need to experiment with. I can’t see how Bacon Salt wouldn’t be good, but it has to be the right recipe. It’s all about the mixology, man.
Interesting. I must try that. We always keep Pickapeppa on hand for soups and impromptu dips (try it over a block of cream cheese with Wheat Thins!). We might have to stage a Bloody Mary Throwdown around here sometime.

I just skimmed through a page or two of this thread, and boy am I hungry.
Well, I decided to order to celebrate my new job, when suddenly, my internet went out! :eek: There were panicked moments while I rebooted everything, only to discover that I still didn’t have net service. I was just about to call my ISP and launch into a tirade about how they were communists and by Og, if they wanted to keep me as a paying customer, they’d best get my net service back up so that I could buy some bacon salt when it all came on. I quickly keyed everything in, and placed my order, so soon I will have bacon salt!

The middle of Michigan hosts our #1 tourist attraction for the state. Is it something Cultural? No. Is it a sporting event? No. It is the City of Frankenmuth and their chicken dinners. ( and outlet shopping.)

I wonder how hard it will be to convince McCourt to add Bacon Salt as a condiment at games. Hell, Bud Selig may be at this series. Maybe I can talk him into making Bacon Salt the official seasoning of Major League Baseball.
