It is with great relief that I announce the completion of my final project for this semester’s class – and it is with even greater relief that I can already say that my professor is happy with it! 
The final project is a portfolio of the semester’s work, some other writing examples, and a reflective essay discussing what we’ve gotten from the semester. Our professor was very clear that the essay would be the most important part of the portfolio, which itself is 40% of the final grade. We had the option of submitting either a hard copy or a web portfolio, and I chose the latter: they were due by 7:00 PM today, and I e-mailed the URL to my professor at 6:39 PM. When I checked my mail a little while ago, I had this reply from him:
“Took a quick look at your cover essay. I think it is very good. It really shows me what you got out of the class and the writing. Kudos.”
